C section patches

Started at 6 weeks once fully healed and noticed a difference. I’m 11 weeks now and it’s disappearing, happy to share an image if it helps

@Sarah my scar is longer than the patch, do you think I could still use it?

@Marieta how long is your scar?? Mine is like half the size of the patch

Would be amazing if wouldn’t mind and I’ve just been worrying over getting them on if worth it or not and thank you so so much

@Marieta you could try do it in stages? Tbh my first scar healed to a thin white line and vanished on its own after about a year. I’m only trying the patches now as they were a gift and it’s my second section.

@Marieta C-section uk recommend a brand called scarban which is more like a tape that you can cut to size. I haven’t used either yet as only 4wks PP and recommended to wait till 6wks/once healed to reduce redness and smooth the scar.

@Laura I have both, but as the frida strips were cheaper, I used those first..

@Dominique what ones did you find better

@Danielle I haven't gotten to the scarban one yet but I did open the package and it seems like its thicker than the frida strips

@Dominique @Laura thank you, I got some bio-oil today to use when I do the scar tissue massage. The scar is 14cm and I haven’t done anything to it yet, 11 weeks pp and starting now
