Until I was cleared around 6 weeks
just after 6 weeks. it did hurt, like it wouldn’t even go in the first time. it took several times before it didn’t hurt anymore but after about a month it went back to feeling normal! take it slow and it’ll be fine
We tried at 6 weeks and literally couldn't do it because it was too painful (I was cleared by my OB). I went to a pelvic floor physio, and she was able to help a lot. We waited for another 7 weeks before trying again. It was uncomfortable at points but a lot better.
Well my daughter is just about 5 months and still haven't yet 🫣! I'm breastfeeding and it's absolutely killed my drive 🫠
It was 5 to 6 months before it was bearable. 7 months pp still have pain occasionally
I think it was right at 6 weeks & I remember it felt so good, as if I were a virgin again lol
For the first baby I waited like 8 weeks before trying and then couldn’t really do it cuz it hurt too much til like 12 weeks lol for the second I waited 6 weeks. Wouldve done it sooner but didn’t want to get an infection or impede healing
Immediately?! 😳 I do the 40 day PP confinement and that means no sex for 40 days so we did at the 6-7w mark.
Definitely don’t skip the lube! That was the only cause of discomfort for me. If it genuinely hurts (not just strange or uncomfortable) after your 6 weeks, something isn’t right imo
i find it so funny that americans get cleared for sex, we’re just told don’t have sex for 6 weeks and that’s that. i think we had sex at the 6 week mark, and if i remember rightly it was absolutely fine (it actually felt better then before we had our son, when i wasn’t pregnant i used to suffer with vaginal dryness and found sex painful, but all that pain/dryness etc went and j think having a baby helped that🤣) but it’s different for everyone. some, it may be too soon and may hurt, and for others not so much. i have a friend who had sex like a week after birth (i could neverrrrrr😭) x
4 months.
About 8 weeks and for me it didn’t feel any different 🤷♀️
6 weeks
11 weeks as my episiotomy hadn't healed until them. Tbh it wasn't the best as I wasn't back on contraception yet so used a condom which wasn't enjoyable for either of us

There are so many reassuring messages here! I’ve been worried too and the thought at sex at 6 weeks sounds awful after the pelvic damage and the episiotomy 😱 we had some foreplay last week and even orgasms give me lower back pain!
8 weeks!
I didn't want to be touched at all before 10 weeks. We didnt have actual sex till I was like 20 weeks pp maybe. I had an emergency c section and I was in so much pain I didn't even want to be hugged and I love a hug
Probably 2 months
2 weeks after both natural w tearing and an emergency C-section 😅 and it did hurt at first
6 months because I tore. We tried before, but it was way too painful. Your body knows when it's ready.
4 weeks pp lol
6weeksssss didn’t hurt tbh
About 8 weeks. It was a little sore, so then we waited until around 10 weeks and used lube, and it went much better. I did not tear, and I got "cleared" at 5 weeks instead of 6 due to scheduling, so I could have safely tried sooner, but I'm glad we waited. I plan on doing a similar thing this time. About 8 weeks, then trying, and if it's painful, hold off a few more weeks and try again. If I tear this time, I might wait for 12 weeks as a baseline instead.
3 weeks
3 months the last time with twins and 10 weeks the first time I think with my singleton
It’s been 3 months and I’m okay with it being another 3 months 😅 I still have popping in my hips from giving birth. I’m not in a rush for anything to be down there 😂😂
