Losing my daughter 🥹

Ever since I lost my daughter I have a very hard time sympathizing with anyone including myself. All the little shit I made a big deal is indeed NOT a big deal and life could always be worse. I’m having a problem with my 2 cousins because they live the poor me life. It’s exhausting and I just almost can’t be around them. Anyone else have this happen after losing their babe?

It’s normal. I had to separate myself from some people, including family because they were like that.

God yeah! Your capacity for other people’s shit can be so diminished and it’s totally ok. With time I’ve found that gets a bit easier and I can now make small talk and react appropriately but even 3 years on still would day I don’t have the empathy for people that I used to

I’m so sorry for your loss. Please be kind to yourself and sympathetic to yourself. You’ve already been through too much. The others you might need to distance yourself with and allow yourself some breathing space.

Focus on healing and practice self compassion on yourself and the rest will follow. You've been through hell - give yourself a break.

I agree, in my head I always say to myself “but at least you didn’t have to give birth to your baby not breathing”. It has totally changed my outlook on life. Distance yourself and focus on you and xx
