@Tilly thanks sound very similar. Except he has no symptoms during the day at all. He had a rly bad cough two weeks so maybe it is just the last bit he’s getting rid off. Has ur daughter’s cough stopped now?
I think it's literally just stopped, she had a cough or two this morning that woke her up and none throughout the day which is normal, but she'd usually be coughing this time at night and throughout but I hear nothing so I think we are clear!! I got the diffuser from Aldi for about a tenner

I’d definitely give it a bit more time if he’s only coming out of a cough, but if it goes on any longer or gets worse a nighttime cough can be an early sign of asthma, my daughter has been prescribed an inhaler for bedtime and nap time because of this, she used to wake herself in the night crying but since being on the inhaler she’s been brilliant! X
Mine has exactly the same thing, I've been using diffuser with eucalyptus and peppermint oils over the last week and this has improved it . It was just the last bit of cold sitting on her chest that she was struggling to get out. This has helped a lot! I'm also wiping away all boogers asap. Weird how it's just at night though and in the morning when she's still in bed, was also waking her up too 😭 hope you get a resolution soon!
