I'm 9 weeks pp and I still have the belly. I had a section 10 years ago aswell and I still had the "shelf"... exercise and patience, but please be kind your 2 weeks pp. Xx
Alison said it best! After your 6 weeks (or more depending on when you’re healed and ready according to your dr because everyone is different) there is a lot of exercises that target that area you can do that will help! You can look them up or you can reach out to me when you are ready and I can help you. It’s definitely doable, but with that being said take your time!
My stomach toppled over my scar and I used to be so overly obsessed with it but I’m gonna tell you as a mom 12 months postpartum without working out and just eating well it will begin to go away. It’s not permanent don’t let it run your life focus on healing and your baby 🫶🏻
Your only 2 weeks hun. Give yourself a little grace. I’m a personal trainer also gone for a c section and my belly is not the same yet. It takes times. Also depending on when you can train too and diet. I wasn’t allowed for 4 months. Takes it time, but you made a whole human hun xxx
Rest!!!!
Hey Taylor, congrats on your little one 🧡 I understand your concern as I felt this way 3 days pp. I practically ran away from mirrors and wore binders too. My baby is 18 months now and my belly is a lot better. I’ll say give it some time mama. You’re 2 weeks in from a 9 months process. Your body needs the time to heal. I started wearing fajas 3 months pp, drinking lots of water and exercising. You’ll see the change soon xx
You just had surgery . Focus on bby xx
Girl you will recover. You’re only 2 weeks postpartum. I’m 6 months pp and my stomach isn’t too flabby. My skin is coming together and when I look in the mirror I have no overhang just a little excess tummy. But I haven’t started working out fully yet. Just doing deep core exercises. You’ll be okay. Just focus on healing and don’t stress over your body. You’ll be able to workout in time.
Took about 12 weeks for my stomach to actually go down, 6 months to start to be like before, however I do have a saggy bit at the bottom now from stretch marks and loose skin (but that’ll just depending on how much you stretched etc, as I know not everyone necessarily gets that, I just carry big babies)
Is this a joke ?
Thank you all for the responses! ❤️❤️❤️
@Shannon no? Why would I joke about this?
Unfortunately a c-section pouch is a thing! Apparently scar massage is suppose to help the appearance
