Childcare plans …

My lo is currently being looked after by grandparents when I go to work and also a day at nursery. But when I go back to work next time, I really need her in nursery more as she’ll be closer to school age and can’t really have 2 separate drop offs. This makes me feel guilty as I feel she’s benefitted being with grandparents more than nursery at the minute for her age. What are you all doing? It’s so much harder with 2 under 2 as trying to make it easy drop off wise etc.

Whilst we both have parents who are retired, they are too busy doing their own things to rely on every week for childcare! So my two will be in nursery for 2 days a week and half a day with Dad (fortunate to work part time). Currently oldest has done 1.5 days nursery so it is a slight increase but she enjoys it so we don't mind. (Hoping 30hr funding may also be active too by return to work- UK based).

3 days nursery 1 day grandparents 1 day me (going back part-time)

Full time nursery and my toddler’s only take them from 2 so it’ll be two separate ones for the first year when I go back in August. So basically I’ll get up early get myself and both kids ready, drive about 15 min to drop one then another couple min to drop the other then work. Do both nursery pickups then cook dinner while having both
