Yep. Sometimes they just need us. It will pass. If it hasn't been long, check with doctor for an ear infection. I have a 6 month old as well.. it's rough with both!

Yup, my son wakes up every single night screaming still.

My son is doing this recently also and he eventually wakes up my 17 month old

Yes. She yells at me that she needs a big hug at least twice a night

My daughter will do this occasionally. Could be growing pains. I usually rub her back or gently massage her legs till she calls down. It could also be night terrors. It's very common for this age group.

@Tiffany she’s done it since she was an infant

@Becky nothing calms her down but a cup of water or dad and i laying down with her until she falls asleep

Do you give her vitamins?

I'm sorry, that's sounds frustrating. Other things I've noticed that could help is to stop using a night light, or start using one, or stop/ starting using a white noise machine. Sometime they wake up if the room is too hot, maybe try dropping the temp or adding more blankets so they feel weighted and warm. My daughter will wake up and ill change her diaper, tuck her back in, give her a stuffy, occasionally let her smell some lavender essential oil to help take her mind off of whatever upset her, rub her back and tell her "it's still night time, mommy is very tired, we all need to go back to sleep". I know this doesn't help now but everything is just a phase and one day you will all sleep through the night.

Unpopular opinion. Maybe move her bed to your room? I feel this is the only country in the world that we make little children sleep alone in their own rooms when they still need their parents. Most adults don’t even like to sleep alone, let alone children 🤷🏻‍♀️

@Rehana 🇬🇾 no… she was taking iron. Which ones should i be giving her?

@Angeles if our room was big enough i would 😭 we have the bassinet in our room

My daughter just started waking up in the middle of the night a couple weeks ago. I’m almost 37 weeks pregnant too 😅 I’m thinking it’s just a sleep regression, but dang I’m tired

She’s taking iron because the pediatrician recommended? I would give daily children’s vitamins for toddlers, age appropriate that says no sugar added.

@Rehana 🇬🇾 yes she was anemic
