I don't recall my bump dropping at all with our first and I was carrying quite high so it would be obvious. I was induced at 40+3 so not sure if it would have dropped but didn't notice it through that process either
I think, especially with first time pregnancies, a lot of mums don't necessarily have a drop until you're in labour.
I didn’t notice it in my first pregnancy but with this one it’s been visibly and physically noticeable. My appetite has came back cos the heartburn has stopped, a lot more pressure down below, and walking etc is a lot more difficult! And it looks so much lower. I’m 40+3 for context and I properly ‘dropped’ about 10 days ago
My due date is tomorrow and I don’t think my bump has dropped at all either 🤷🏽♀️ was wondering the same!
@Chloe I feel so much pressure today but the bump just looks like it did last week.. In over analysing all signs at the moment 😂🫣
First time pregnant and I think mine has dropped twice but the baby has wriggled back up over night both times. I’m not sure why though…
I’m FTM and 8 days overdue atm, I didn’t notice a drop but midwife has observed I appear to have more room at the top and all I can say is I’ve been in more pain in my pelvis the closer it’s getting, but I welcome it as want him out! 😅 xx
I’ve never had a noticeable drop but just feel more pressure in my pelvis. Needing to pee even more than before. More pain when walking around. Some people mention they can breathe better and eat more, but that never happened for me.
