Milk drying up

I’d say if your boob is going solid it’s full of milk, you will still need to extract milk it can take up to a month- for me I just expressed on an evening and then if not much was coming out I’d leave it a couple extra days until I eventually stopped. You got to be careful for mastitis tho

This happened to me I was told to use ice and no warm showers or if you do avoid that area and also no stimulation of that area and not to express any milk unless it’s super painful to contact your midwife, you will leak some milk of course but mines nearly dried up now and all this worked for me x

I took Sudafed (or any other decongestants) and it helped dry my milk up quickly and with minimal pain☺️ this and frozen breast pads in a tight fitting sports bra xx
