Slap cheek..

just looking for some advice! I work in a school and there is a child with slap cheek in my class. My headteacher has asked if I wanted to move year groups but I’m just wondering if I had a good chance of immunity due to working in a school for 4 years? Or shall I move to be safe. any teachers or TAs experienced this before and what have you done? Thank you!

My daughters had slapped cheek a few times now and I've never caught anything from her x

Hey, this was my exact situation last week! GP said I wasn't to be in the room with the child with slapped cheek for more than 15mins, so I moved to the other class. In the meantime my midwife ran the test for immunity (bloods) which came back immune so I went back to class! I know some schools ask you to work from home until you have results. GP and midwife were both super helpful xx

Thank you for this! I have now done the same and waiting for my bloods to come back so fingers crossed it comes back as immune! X
