Nipple bruising
My girl has bruised one of my nipples.. also it hurts when she latches.. help!

Make sure you’re pinching your nipple and getting it the whole thing in her mouth evenly- not just the tip! My lactation nurse taught me that Improper latching can cause bruising, rawness, and clogged ducts. You can also buy nipple guards/cream.
I got coconut oil at the drugstore

@Erica There is a special cream called lanolin nipple cream that is safe for moms nipples and for baby to get into their mouth.
