When to transition away from milk!

When did you all stop giving your LO milk or weaned off? I mean whole milk or alternative milk. My son is going on 14 months.

When they want. There is nothing wrong with stopping milk if they don't like it as long as they are getting their calcium from somewhere else. If they like drinking milk, keep giving it to them

You never just stop giving it to them lol but it shouldn't be a "meal" after like 14-16 months

I agree if he likes it than let him continue. Ive hated milk as long as I can remember. My doctor told me that another you can do is smoothies. Just do simple ones with milk, yougurt and fruit. Your still getting the milk and it tastes good

i started weaning my little one around 12 months, but honestly, it kinda depends on what works for you and your kiddo! this is what the 'Heal Baby Care App' mentioned… hope it helps! "Many parents start weaning off whole milk or alternative milk around 12 months, as children can transition to a variety of solid foods and get their nutrients from those. It's common to continue offering milk as a drink, but the focus shifts to a balanced diet. If your son is eating a variety of foods and getting enough nutrients, you can gradually reduce milk intake.

@Susan this is weird because you're not even supposed to introduce cows milk until 12 months
