Treat it like a night time wake up. Keep it dim, offer boob/bottle and soothe to sleep! I’m going through a regression so whatever extra sleep I can take I will! She slept in till 10 the other morning so I could catch up haha
8-6 is bloody brilliant. We mostly start our days around 6.15/6 and that’s with a 3 year old x
It could be a few things, too much day sleep or he's ready to drop to 3 naps if still on 4. As another comment though when my little one woke around this time I treated it like a night waking, so feed in dim light, no interaction, back to sleep. We've just switched to 3 naps and I've found it has made his night sleep longer, 12-12.5 hours now.
He's been on 3 naps for a while. He generally does 1-1.5 hours in the morning, and again at lunchtime. Then maybe 45mins-1hr in the afternoon I do attempt to treat the 6am wake as a night wake. I keep it dark & quiet, pop my boob in his mouth. Put him back in his cot with white noise on. Sometimes he goes back to sleep for 45mins-1hr, most times he just chats to himself like he's decided it's time to get up for the day 🤷🏼♀️
Sounds like a good routine. On the bright side clocks go forwards soon so it'll be an hour later that he's getting up if he just likes getting up at that time 😂
Oooo yes! Let's hope the clock change helps him sleep til 7 🤞
