Why do you need to change to a cup?
@Amy by cup I mean like a tum tum cup with a straw or a beaker. I read the bottles with teats can lead to more tooth decay
We have tried with a cup but she refuses milk from one 🤦🏼♀️ think we will struggle to stop her bottle
My little boy used to have a bottle in bed to go to sleep with, I noticed when he was poorly recently he didn’t want it and went to sleep fine without it so I took the opportunity before it got too difficult to lose the bottle. I wasn’t really concerned about him having it as he only had it for about 5 minutes, once a day, he has a dummy which I’m sure would cause more tooth issues than a bottle for that amount of time would. He really wasn’t phased about drinking it out of a cup instead, he uses various different cups throughout the day. One thing I did do when losing the bottle was he now drinks it downstairs before going to bed, could be the reason why he wasn’t so bothered about losing the bottle in bed I don’t know! X
No - its apparently easier to break before 18months. Depends how imp it is to you? My niece is still having a night bottle she is 3.5 yo. Whatever tickles your fancy tbh. It took 3 weeks of trying everyday one specific cup to get it to work.. when it didnt we did bottle. Until one day it just stuck
