Dummy thoughts

How are your little ones doing with dummys (if they take one)? My little boy loves his for naps and sleep. He uses it to fall asleep and once he’s dropped off it falls out of his mouth. He doesn’t feed during the night (last feed at 8pm) but since he has hit the regression he now wakes on average 6/7 times between 3am to 7am and just wants the dummy and then goes straight back to sleep. I don’t mind it now as I can reach in and give it to him but worried what it will be like when he goes into his own room. Just wondering how everyone else is doing with it X

Our nights are very similar. I’m wondering whether to ditch the dummy so that she learns to fall asleep without it and will hopefully not wake up so many times 🤷‍♀️

@Hayley I’m thinking the same, I just feel the mom guilt taking it from him 🥺 There’s also so much mixed messages about what time is best to remove it. I did read that Aparently they will have forgotten about it after 2days if you remove it under 6months of age. X

This happened with my boy when his regression hit at 4 months, I went cold turkey and removed it, he was fine after 2 nights :) xx
