Does the suckling change? Is he definitely feeding or sucking for comfort? My baby will unlatch himself when he’s had enough and if you try to offer more he pouts and sort of pushes it away, also if your baby was still hungry they’d definitely let you know by crying and rooting I would think. This is just my own experience, hope this is helpful in some way ☺️

Sounds like cluster feeding - very normal in young babies he’s just trying to regulate your supply x

I found Leche League website really helpful for understanding different things around breastfeeding. I think it takes around 12 weeks for your supply to settle. I think it was around that time my wee boy got more efficient at feeding with a few hours in between feeds. Now at 5 months if he goes on & off every few seconds he usually just needs to be held upright to burp then will carry on feeding until he is full. Keep going, you are doing the right thing letting your wee one go on as much as they want 💛
