At 4 weeks this is totally normal, they’re just adjusting to life on the outside and you’re the only consistent they know. If you need to get things done during the day, try baby wearing, otherwise contact naps are basically the best option. At night either practice safe co-sleeping or try some swaddled sleep sacks to help her feel secure x
Same currently.
At night babies need to feel secure. That’s normal for every mammal in earth. The car seat makes them feel snuggled so they feel secure.
My 3 week old won’t sleep or won’t last unless he’s on us 🙄 lol the only way he sleeps on his bassinet is if I have a rolled up towel around/under him. It’s not considered safe but that’s what works for us for now 🥴
Our little guy was like this for awhile! Is she swaddled? We switched to sleep sacks and found that helped since he liked sleeping with his arms up above his head. Also we use the hatch with white noise or rain and red light at a low setting!
