baby suddenly fussy and arching back (advice please)

my boy is 7.5 months and the past 5-6 weeks he hasn’t been sleeping well. NOW the past week or so he is squealing crying, grunting and arching his back, will not eat, sleep and is super difficult to settle. he has been on puree/solids since he was 5 months old and hasn’t tried new foods recently. does anyone relate or have advice?? of course he could be teething but should it be setting him off this much??

It could possibly be acid reflux.😢 That happened a lot when my son was a baby. Mostly when he was younger newborn until like 8-9 months old It could also be trapped gas. That one was extremely difficult to figure out as well.

@Jennie he hasn’t ever struggled with reflux though could it just randomly start up?? and he doesn’t ever have much spit up either. I also thought gas but i burp him for sooooo long and he always gets his wind up x

Try the Windi, sounds gassy to me. With it going on for that long I'd call the pediatrician though.

Give a nice massage to baby with coconut oil

Sounds like reflux!! Try to get a gastro apt asap and the dr might prescribe the reflux meds. (I forgot the name) but my baby was prescribed it and worked wonders

If not reflux, u might have to work backwards and look at the foods he’s eating that can cause his discomfort

Arching his back sounds like gas or constipation. If he’s eating get him some puréed prunes and see if that helps. They usually quite like them too cos they’re so sweet xx

Sounds like trapped gas maybe?
