Withholding wee!!

My daughter is almost 2 and half we started potty training a couple of days ago the first day started relatively ok. But these last 2 days she’s withholding her wee. She’s been up since 6 and 9oclock and she still hasn’t gone and the same for yesterday she’s had loads of fluids and definitely will need to go, it’s driving me mad and don’t know what to do!?

My boy does this. I just pull his trousers down and sit him on the potty if I feel necessary.

I have been keeping her naked from the bottom down and she’s eventually going on there but it’s a mad rush as she’s so desperate, just don’t know how to get her to stop holding on for so long

Have you tried a potty training chart. Every time she has a wee or poo on the potty she will get a treat/star. I have heard people say that this can work really well

@Kimberley yeah we are doing a chart and she does ask straight away for a sticker so it definitely helps. I think I’ll just have to keep on going she has developed a bit of a cold so isn’t feeling quite herself

My daughter did this. Sometimes they get freaked out by the release because they're more aware of it. The thing that helped us was to put her feet in warm water whenever she sat on the potty. There's something about it that makes them release. We did this for maybe 2 days until she got used to the feeling 😊
