Babies own room

No i won’t be until the recommended 6+ months. Our first went into his own room at 10 months, this time we’ll try for 7/8 months

@Elsha did you not find that you disturbed them? We have found that we are waking out little one in the night accidentally

With my first yes I did find that, but I was also co sleeping with him, he slept much better once he went into his own room at 10 months and by 11 months started sleeping through the night. With my second who’s almost 4 months no I don’t find that, he sleeps very well from 8pm either till 4am or 7am in his next to me crib. But even if we did find that we were disturbing him I would be way too nervous to put him in his own room at such a young age as it’s a massive increase in the risk of SIDS x

We're putting my twins in their own room from 6 months, too. Did the same with my first, we woke him up a lot so it was definitely a countdown to put him in his own room and it's the same this time around too!

We (my partner more than me) disturb our little one too, I can't wait to move him into his own room just for this reason but then I also like having him so close. It's a catch 22

We have already. But because she was born big and healthy, no reflux or any breathing issues and not a wriggler. One night noticed she slept much better in her own room and started to keep her there at night (with a monitor of course). Best thing we did for all our sleep. I think like with Co sleeping, you can be the judge of what risks to take, but that's just my opinion.

We plan to do it when she’s 6 months (or maybe just under, as she was born exactly two weeks late). We would do it now if it wasn’t for the SIDS recommendations, but will wait just to ease any worry/anxiety that I’d likely get from doing it too soon. She does have her daytime naps in her own room with a monitor though.. But we live in an apartment, so all one floor and I’ll also go in every so often just to check on her x
