Anyone Struggling with Naps in Crib?

My baby has been exclusively napping either in the stroller or during contact naps. Does anyone have any tips for transitioning their baby to nap in the crib at 9months +? I feel like we are so late to this. Thank you!

We are in the same boat at 9 months + so would love to hear what folks are doing on this front too!

Same 9months and he does great at bedtime and wakes up only once maybe twice to eat then goes right back to bed but nap time is so rough but the second we get in the car or he's I'm my arms or daddy's he's out but only 45min MAX

Same but I think it’s just her teething

I let mine cry her self to sleep after she ate now she goes to sleep in her crib

My baby is either napping on me or my boyfriend and he is cuddling me all night 😆 Not sure if he ever gonna sleep in his crib 🥲

Ah, well I guess I’m not alone in this :)

Mine naps in a crib at daycare but I don’t know how to do it on weekends we do contact naps or car seat naps. Since I work full time I soak up and enjoy the contact naps. The baby stage is so short I just enjoy them but if I had to deal with it every day I’m sure I would feel differently. But I don’t think it’s abnormal to be still doing contact naps at this stage. Once they are down to one nap a day as a toddler it’s easier to do a nap routine and get them to sleep in the crib.

I've managed to get him down in his cot in the day from contact napping all the time but only sleeps 30/40mins so have to save the nap and contact the rest. I do put him down awake and it takes him 10-20 mins to nod off with a little help, stroking, dummy if he wants it. Will see what he's like when he starts nursery he's just under 8 months now. I read that if they'll sleep in cot at night time they might just not be ready for the extra separation in the day too and it will come eventually. I've stopped feeling under pressure by it, sometimes I put him in his cot for morning nap, sometimes I don't 🤷🏼‍♀️
