My baby had the same symptoms and after a couple of days we realised he had a little tooth coming through. This was at 12 weeks so really weren’t expecting it. So yes quite possible your LO had a tooth on the way! Hope he isn’t too distressed by it. Most teething gels are from 6 months but found Ashton and parsons gel which is from 3 months.
@Remee that’s good to know, I may try that and see if that helps him thank you xx
Our LO is 12 weeks and we're experiencing the same. Also refusing some feeds. All symptoms point to teething 😬
@Laura oh blimey! That’s early. He seems genuinely fine bless him, still taking feeds and smiling. But sometimes he’s just gets aggy for no reason and cries. Then I think you’ve been changed and fed! Just refuses some if not all his daytime naps and then gets himself a little overtired and then has a full meltdown. It’s like he wants to nap but is fighting it but he will eventually go down 😆😅 Ooo I will try them and see if that helps. Thank you! Did the dribbling eventually calm down or go for you?xx
@Lauren my firstborn was (is!) so dribbly nursery would embarrassingly hand me a soaking bib to take home each day 😂 but he was definitely more dribbly when teething, hope that’s useful. I found red cheeks & pulling ears were signs too.
My girl has been teething for a few weeks now and she’s 12w tomorrow. It’s early but it’s definitely possible and all I have been able to give her is Calpol, and teething rings xx
@Lauren the dribbling has continued so we’ve invested in dribble bibs so we don’t have to change the whole outfit so often as it was getting soaked through with dribble.
@Tiffany oh no 🤣🤣 yes that is good to know because I can’t help think is he just dribbler because he blows bubbles with sometimes and just smiles after doing it 🫣 Thanks for this I shall keep an eye open for those signs too
My little girl is doing all this and I think she’s teething and she’s nearly 4 months, so I’ve been using parsons teething powder on her gums, soothes her so quickly x
