Same as above if you going to go for it, go for it and take nappies/pull ups away completely (apart from nighttime)
Thanks ladies! So update: We've had accidents all day long and no using the potty 🫠 I'm wondering if it's too early for her and she just doesn't like wearing a nappy haha xx
Best tip is to not rush especially if it’s to get potty trained before baby is born as regression may occur. I could tell my son was ready when I was pregnant but I put it off. When newborn was 2 weeks old we took my 2 1/2 year old out and asked him to choose some big boy pants he felt really proud but he didn’t want to wear them straight away. A few days later he asked me one evening to wear them and he’s not worn a nappy since! we went strictly no nappy’s (apart from “bedtime pants” (pull ups)) consistency is key. We got a baby shark potty training chart, we over exaggerated our excitement with every poo and wee he did on the potty. People swore I was mad potty training with a newborn but my newborn was still sleeping majority of time and my eldest was craving attention and was loving all the attention during potty training the timing was actually perfect for us!
It's definitely doable! My advice would be remove the nappy/pull up and go bare on the bottom for a few days at home whilst watching like a hawk for any signs of needing to go. My LG was 2 end of July and we potty trained a month later ahead of baby arriving in December
