potty training
hey mamas, when should i start potty training?? my son has been showing a lot of interest in the toilet and can communicate when he has to go to the bathroom and what he is doing. before he goes poo he says “mama poop!” and then when he’s done he goes “mama butt, diaper?” he takes the wipes and wipes his privates while i’m cleaning him up during diaper changes and he loves to flush the toilet. me and my husband have been taking him into the bathroom with us, so he associates going potty with the bathroom now. i’m 99% sure he’s showing signs of readiness for potty training but i wanted some other opinions and advice for moving forward with potty training🥰

Right when he says Mama poop, put him on the potty! We have one in the middle of the living room to make it easy. I switched from Huggies to Pampers 360 during the day to make it easy to get him ready to sit. Say good job, praise, and love each time he sits. There are training undies too, so they notice when they get wet, that might be an option too
