not baby related, any hairdressers!!

hey everyone sorry for the unrelated post. I had my hair professionally done from bleached blonde to my natural light brown in december. A couple weeks ago i got sick of my green looking ends from the fading of the brown and my bleached blonde peeping through so i grabbed a brown box dye thinking i had found my solution🥲anyway my ends are absolutely fine now but my roots which have never had bleach on them have gone gingery after a few washes. What can i do to solve this without continuing to box dye as the whole reason i went my natural was to stop dying my hair.

You need to try to neutralise the red by using a conditioner or shampoo with a purple tone. A shampoo might be better as the issue is at your roots. Look for ones for blonde hair in Boots or Paks. It’s only going to be a temporary fix as the colour probably needs to be colour correct by a professional but will at least make you feel better in the mean time!
