Waxing after c-section

I used to get Hollywood waxing every month before giving birth. I had an emergency c-section at the end of February and wondering when it would be safe to get waxed again? I know it depends on the recovery and scar healing, but has anyone done bikini waxing after a c-section?

My sister had c sections and got waxed afterwards for sure and then laser even, so it's definitely fine to do at some point... But idk how soon sorry You could ask your waxing place too, they've usually experienced it all x

I had a wax after 8 weeks but they wouldn’t wax over the scar until 6 months pp

@N 💞 that makes sense. Luckily the scar is at the top of the bikini line so hopefully they can wax underneath it.

Yea I’m sure they will, I don’t know if it’s because it’s scar tissue but I barely get any hair grow on or around my scar now so avoiding it for a couple of months wasn’t an issue

I had a full Hollywood wax including over the scar exactly a month after the c-section. All was good, nothing worrying. I’ve now had it done twice already since the surgery.

I had to wait 8 weeks then resumed normal waxing
