I'm also STRUGGLING 😩 my current approach to trying to manage it is: ginger tea, chews and ale, nausea wristbands, 25mg Vitamin B6 every 8 hours. But I've also been prescribed sickness meds which I might end up using 🙃
@Charlotte it’s horrible isn’t it😢 ooh I will try some of these thank you! Is the vitamin b6 tablet form? Can you recommend any? I’m trying to steer away from the anti sickness tablets just from the negative things I’ve heard from them.
I find fresh air and ginger nut biscuits and dry toast really help me with the nausea and the nausea wristbands too x
Try gin gin the chewable ones you can get them from Holland and Barrett’s I always kept a couple in my bag and would take it when I felt really bad and couldn’t do routine tasks. Rice cakes also helped a lot. Ginger beer too
@Kirsty yeah so Holland & Barrett do 50mg tablets but I chop them roughly in half so I get the 25mg. Also I've got the wristbands on for the first time today, they have 100% helped, I can't believe I've eaten twice today already!
@Shay Thank you I will have a look!
@Charlotte what wristbands are you using? I’ve seen some on boots website but the reviews aren’t that good
I just got mine off Amazon. Hopefully this link works? https://amzn.eu/d/9nAMiCd I've just been massaging the pressure points with the bands on regularly and I've just eaten a roast, can't believe it 😭 haven't been able to eat properly for days I think it's something you have to be consistent with / basically wear them 24/7
I am earlier on than you but I have felt like crap every day. I wore some wristbands my partner got me from Sainsbury’s and I feel a lot better today! https://www.sainsburys.co.uk/gol-ui/product/safe-sound-motion-sickness-bands
@Charlotte Thank you!!
@Sarah That’s great! Thank you
@Sophie It started around the 5/6 week mark but this last week or so it’s been at its worst. I’m hoping it will start to ease off within the next few weeks🤢😫
I found smelling lemon juice helped me.
