I use it with formula but same idea. We had to go to fast flow teats because it was impossible for him to get it out
Youll need faster flow teets for the thicker formula. Make sure you don’t add too much - the feeds shouldn’t be gel like, just thicker
@Daria I tried to do the syringe with the mixture it told me to do on the box but it was soo thick I don’t think it would’ve even went in the syringe! I was also unsure about a fast flow teat as they say they are for 6m+ ?
@Vicky I was just a bit unsure about fast flow teats as they say they are for 6m+ ☹️?
@Lisa the fast flow teats are for 6m+ so wasn’t sure if I could use these ☹️ yeah I noticed that when she got to near the end of the bottle it was really really thick aswell! I think I’m only putting in about 1/4 of the little scoop it comes with 😕
Yes the teets are fine to use ☺️ it’s 6m plus if using regular consistency formula / breast milk and like anything just a guide. If you’re giving reflux milk or carobel you will for sure need the fast flow teets.
It’s fine to use fast flow teats the age is just guidance based on normal thickness of milk. The thickened milk won’t flow out as fast as normal. If you are worried about fast feeding sitting up helps or start with medium flow - breast milk is thinner than formula so might be fine with medium flow
@Lisa thank you, we bought medium flow teats and seem to be a lot better 🫶🏻
@Vicky thank you we did buy the medium flow teats and have also changed her position of feeding which seems to be helping 🥰
I’m not using it myself but i was thinking you could use a syringe to give it to her? Or getting a larger teat.
