Milk intake

How much milk is your babies taking in a day? My baby was exclusively breastfed and therefore does not take a bottle. The only way I get milk into her is when she wakes up at night I hand her a sippy cup with milk because it’s the ONLY way I can get milk into her system. She will sometimes have porridge in mornings but that’s it. I am getting worried and I also don’t want to keep giving her milk at night cause I don’t want her to get usedto it! Anyone else on same boat ?

Forgot to say stopped exclusively breastfeeding when she was 13 months old as she was constantly waking during the night for the boob ( hourly)

My baby only drinks 6 Oz breastmilk at bedtime(we are working through the remainder of my breastmilk and then will stop this) and maybe 6 Oz whole milk through the day. Technically they don't need to drink any. As long as there are at least 4 servings of dairy each day that is fine! At least to my knowledge!

Milk or dairy isn’t nutritionally necessary if she doesn’t want it. She only needs at least 10 oz of water a day for hydration. We’re having a problem with not accepting milk in the straw cup, but I’m hoping over time he gets more and more used to it. But if not, he’ll just have water.

Just make sure to give calcium rich food through the day and water. My girls love cheese and yogurt.
