@Katie it’s exhausting! I know it will get easier with time but I just don’t enjoy going anywhere at the moment. My house is about 20-30 minutes away from everywhere so there’s not even a good place to pull over and feed him and constantly worried about him being in the car seat for too long as well!
I had this with my 1st, and if I'm honest, you just have to push through it. Drive to where you're heading. Once there, feed, go about your business and if he needs feeding in-between, then just go for it. With breast feeding, they also use you for comfort a lot of the time. So even just strapping them in the carrier when you're out can comfort them, as they can smell you and feel your heartbeat. It use to make me so anxious each time. But I realised that I couldn't let it take over my life. And I've followed the same rule this time x
This is me currently can't bear my LO getting upset in the car and not being able to comfort her straight away 🥺
Yeah we have put off going places because of this. She’ll be fed and content and then if she gets upset the only thing to comfort her is the boob. Everyone keeps telling me it gets easier so I’m just trying to enjoy being in the house until feeding gets more of a routine xx
Yes! It is unbelievably hard, comments from family members don't help either 'she's literally just fed she can't be hungry again!' Well she is!! And then I feel awkward feeding her again being so judged. You're not alone, hopefully it will get better soon x
Yes! This exactly 😥
