Yes definitely happens to me. Tiktok was the worst, I got rid of it and never looked back, it made me so anxious. I've also removed all news off my phone, I still have facebook and insta which affect me too but I limit my time on them to 10 mins or less a day

I don’t watch shit like that on my phone. Granted, my kid is 5 now so I don’t have a lot baby and motherhood stuff/content come up, but I never really did. I don’t have TT but on IG I follow a lot of PP workout accounts, accounts that can inspire me and motivate me, mums who have gotten their “pink” back in every way (physically, emotionally and spiritually) and that’s who I follow, or I type up what I wanna see on the search bar whether that’s hair tutorials, nails tutorials or dance tutorials, sometimes I have comedians on my feed that make me laugh and light up my day. Tailor your feed to what you wanna see, don’t scroll randomly because we can’t control what comes up. Type in your actual interests and what you wanna see. Doing that, SM has never been a source or anxiety or negativity for me because it doesn’t come up. I follow the people who add to my life - when he was baby that was like, baby sensory pages, food pages, BF pages, home births, cloth diapers etc. I tailor it to me

When my baby was born I deleted ALL social media. I have only just got most back and to be honest I'm thinking of getting rid again. The 8 months I didn't have it were pure bliss.

If you're feeling that way then definitely unfollow some pages and take a break
