Breastfeeding!

Moms I need your help! My two year old is still breastfeeding and I’m ready for him to stop asap! He eats other food but is still so attached to the breast, especially at night.

I did the book booby moon when my daughter was 2.5, we did a big party, released a balloon to send the milk back to all the new babies who don't have any...it worked for us. But I called it milky moon

I just put bandages over mine and said I had booboos and he stopped

I struggled with the SAME exact thing. (Currently pregnant and son is 17 months, but nipples we’re way too sore to keep doing it) My son would only fall asleep with boob. I know TV isn’t recommended for bedtime but what I did is watch something that he was interested in enough that he could be calm through the night and whenever he started getting whiney for boob is to give him water instead. Then wait until he fell asleep naturally. It was SO past his bedtime but he eventually did it and every night since then he’s been going to bed earlier and earlier without boob. The first night I still have him a little bit of boob just cause he was teething and it seemed to be the only thing that was helping him but now he’s 100% weaned off after a week of doing this On the plus side he actually sleeps so much better through the night without boob

I stopped cold turkey and just let my baby cry. It sounds harsh but he’s eating food. Baby will be fine. I also explained to my child that he’s a big boy and Boobs are for babies.

My coworker suggested putting lemon juice on my nipples every time my daughter asks to nurse, then offer her the boob. I haven't tried it yet but it is what i plan to do in a few weeks.

Sucked buster on Amazon! Best $25 I've ever spent 😭 I used it one time, and she never tried to latch again. I tried literally every hack before buying it, and that's the only thing that worked
