Pooing in the loo!

My daughter has been potty trained since last August however pooing on the loo is still rare. She usually goes in her nappy (still needs a nappy for night) when she wakes in the morning before she gets up! She's so evasive about pooing on the loo. Does this just naturally improve ?! I've tried everything to make it ok for her! I guess when she stops needing a nappy at night it will have to get better!

My daughter has been potty trained since September and refuses to do a poo on the toilet. I’ve just figured she will do it at her own pace 🙃 The more I mention it I think she will shut down!

My boy has been tt for over a year and still sometimes will not poo on the toilet. It's just one of those things that takes a bit of time to get used to, and they'll do it when they want to.

I’ve just ordered my little girl a potty watch to see if that will help her go more and set a timer 30/40 minutes after she’s eaten x

We had the same for months, was happy to wee on the potty or toilet with his potty seat but anytime we tried poos he’d do nothing then sneak off and do it in his nappy. We’d bribed him with chocolate and new toys with no joy. Then out of nowhere did the usual sitting him on and asking him to try and he pushed out a small one… made a massive fuss of him, new toy and a cake after his breakfast and since then he’ll happily tell us he needs a poo but problem now is he’s demanding a chocolate button after every one 😂

Forgot to add, we have no idea why he just decided that was the day to do it… didn’t do anything special, I think maybe the just have to be ready… I’d asked him why he didn’t want to before and he’d just say ‘I don’t know’ everytime 😂
