My best friend just separated with her husband after 7 years because she put on weight and he has always been very fit. He immediately found someone thin and started cheating on her right when he told her he wasn’t attracted to her anymore. We hate him.
Second what Hannah said above. I would immediately tell him that what he said was mean hurtful and unacceptable. And if he didn’t straight away apologise and see the error of his ways then we’d be having serious issues

I’d be extremely hurt if my partner said that to me. Probably so hurt that I’m not sure I could forgive him for such a hurtful, shallow comment. I would feel degraded that because I wasn’t as slim as used to be I was no longer attractive to my partner. Id be fucking devastated actually! If this is what your husband has done, I am so sorry, that is an absolutely disgusting thing to say to your wife. X
