How old were your kids when they were fully potty trained at night?

My daughter will be 4 in July. She is still wearing a pull up at night. Was going to see how she does with wearing just underwear soon. Was curious to see when other people's little ones were able to go all night without wetting the bed.

4 I think. X

My LO is 4 in June. She doesn't wear a pull up anymore at night. She can sleep through without wetting the bed. Although, she will wake when she needs to wee and we just put a potty in her room so she can quickly get to it. I wouldn't worry though as it's all down to hormones. I also find it depends on how much liquid she has close to bedtime xx

My oldest didn't start training until almost 3 and was fully trained day and night by his 3rd birthday. I definitely got lucky that it just stuck! We also limited fluids for about an hour before bed time. My youngest isn't old enough to start yet so who knows with him

My daughter was night trained as soon as she was day trained so 2.5yrs

My daughter is 2.5. still wears pull ups at night but most of the time it's dry. Overnight isn't something you can train. It's hormonal so they do it when ready.

My son was close after day training so a few months after 2 but my daughter about a year after so 3.5y. It's a hormone thing for night training so there's not much you can do in terms of teaching them x

2! She's already in panties. We started extremely early

Soon after toilet training so nearly 3. Is your daughters nappy dry at night as that will be a sign to start.

You can’t train them at night so unless her pull up is dry consistently I wouldn’t take it off or you’ll just have loads of accidents.

My daughter is day trained and night trained at 2.5y also.

It is very dependent on the individual kid. Bed wetting is hereditary too. I wet the bed all throughout elementary school. So it’s likely my kids will have issues too

Just before 3, she was dry on a night before being potty trained. Night time dryness is hormonal

She night trained 2 months or so after she was day trained at 2.5yo

2 years and 7 months, first daily and 2 weeks after at night too

My daughter was potty trained around 2 1/2. I kept putting on a diaper at night for 2 weeks. She would wake up with a dry diaper and refuses to wear diapers now. She’s done really good so far .

Aged 3 for my little girl she 3.5 now and had 2 accidents and that was right at the beginning

@Haley if it’s happening into elementary I would see a chiropractor

@N 💞 this isn't true for every child because my 3 year old was still waking up every morning with a wet pull-up and one night I just decided no more pullups I explained to her that she's a big girl now and take her for a wee before bed and she's has 2 accidents in 7 months, I thought it was hormonal too because that's what everyone said on this app but it's not actually true for every child

@Carly it is pretty coming up until 6 or 7 years old. And can be totally normal. And also chiropractors are not medical doctors so if there is an issues, you should take the kid to their pediatrician

My eldest was 5 and a half My youngest just turned 3 It isn’t uncommon for little ones upto age 7 to wet the bed :)

My wee boy is 4 in may and has been toilet trained for ages during the day but still wears a nappy for bed its still wet when he gets up so dont think ill be able to take it away anytime soon

He was almost 3. We took it off only a couple of weeks after the day one. He was dry even when in nappy

A day before she turned 2

My oldest was day trained at 2.5 and night trained by 3. My youngest was day trained a little before 2 and night trained at 2.5

@Laura Your almost 4 year old can wake up to pee at night? Wow, that’s impressive!

Stop buying the pull up’s n make her use the bathroom before bed. Don’t give her anything to drink after a certain and sometimes you have accidents and my son is three and he still has accidents from time to time but consistency is

I did it a week after he day trained. So 2y3m. I’m ruthless w my toilet training though. I don’t mind washing sheets and thin blankets coz I was washing cloth diapers before that anyway, some extra things in the wash is nbd to me. They don’t like being wet so my kids learn to either wake up and pee middle night (he did at 2.5 but he jumped in my bed after he went to pee 🙄😂) or hold it, but yeah he hated being wet.

Thank you everyone!!

@Kellie thank you!
