Electric breast pump advice

Which is the best electric pump? I like the idea of these wearable ones but they have some bad reviews about leaking milk

My sister in law has the Momcozy M6 and loves it. I’m looking at getting this soon, currently on special on Amazon

The momcozy m5 is great 🙂 I have it and have been using it for the past 6 months. Would definitely recommend

I'm using Medela hands free, been ok so far 😊

I've had the best experience with the madela pump in the hospital and the spectra pump at home.

So, wearables are great for an on the go pump when you need it, buuuuttt, no matter their claims, they just cannot have the same power or suction as "regular" pumps. Which basically means you'll have to add 1-2 pump session if ep to get the same daily total, and if you don't your supply will *likely* dwindle. I had the momcozy and it worked well, but switched to the eufy (with the heated flanges) and it was AMAZING!!!! I also tried the olivia and could not get more than 1-2 oz per boob (I usually would get 4+ per). The eufy was the hard winner (only .5 less than my normal pump), but the momcozy worked awesome as a budget friendly first wearable option (1oz less approx). The best pump? Spectra s2. You can swap the flanges with others to make it somewhat handsfree, but you'll still be tethered to the motor. I used it as I'd and I could do laundry or wash dishes, I just would have to lug the motor around, but it was still better than being attached to a wall the whole time

The s2 does have more power when plugged in, but *most* women won't need a full level 12 plugged into the wall pump! I apparently have nipples of steel or something idk but I could use it at it's highest setting, most of my mom friends stopped by level 8! It is a powerful pump! Also all wearables are somewhat prone to leaking, but if you just make sure it's lined up properly and press around the edges FIRMLY to "smooth out" the seam, you shouldn't have a problem, unless you recline!

Oh and if you have elastic or even somewhat elastic nipples, wearables aren't the way to go. They have too short a channel and you'll chafe and it'll suck, not even accounting for the supply drop. I'm not exactly elastic, but the eufy was the only one where I didn't hit the end of the channel!

I recommend the spectra s2 and just getting some pumping bras to make it hands free (im larger busted so the kindred bravely sublime bra worked best for me, which also wearables btw can be super hit or miss for us busty gals!) Sorry for all the comments and I know its a ton of info...I did so much research and tried so many and man it can be a hard choice, especially when you only have bits and pieces of info from reviews! So I hope this helps a little!!

I did loads of research and ended up buying an elvie stride ready to return to work so I could pump in the car while driving 😅 I never ending up going back to work so I have one brand new in the box if you decide on that ins. I paid £120 but am open to offers

i've heard mixed things about the wearable pumps too, but honestly, it kinda depends on your needs and how much you pump... maybe check out some recent reviews? this is what the 'Heal Baby Care App' mentioned… hope it helps! "When considering electric pumps, the Medela Pump in Style and the Spectra S1 are highly regarded for their efficiency and reliability. Wearable pumps like the Willow or Elvie can offer convenience but may have issues with leaking, as you've mentioned. It's essential to read recent reviews and consider your specific needs, such as portability and suction strength. Have you used any pumps before, or are you looking for something specific in terms of features?"
