@Louise good to know! Do you know when your supply regulated?
I regulated a bit later i think I had a dip about 16 weeks and started to feel less full. I think that was mostly because I had a sick baby in and out of hospital so pump times etc were a challenge my body couldn't get the rhythm at first
I’d keep it at 9pm and then do one at 2am - give yourself some time to sleep! I would have thought it wouldn’t affect your supply and if it does you can always reintroduce it
I have always done just one pump at night. I'm now slowly moving that round to when I will be waking for work , so no more night pump hopefully in few weeks. My daughters nearly 1
@Rachael yes I thought about doing this but I’d get sooo engorged after 5 hours 😭 I get clogged ducts easily and it’s no fun 🥲
I pump every 3 hours, dropped my 2am pump. supply remained the same xx
I pump a similar amount per day for my twins who are 10 weeks old. I went down from 8 PPD to 7 several weeks ago and it has been no issue for supply. I pump when babies eat during the day but sleep through one feed at night. Roughly: 6am, 9am, 12pm, 3pm, 6pm, 9pm, 3am The extra sleep is good for your supply too 🙂
@Caroline that’s so good to hear! did you add the extra minutes to your sessions when you dropped a pump??
@Bianca pretty much, but it's not exact. I only pump 15 minutes if I don't have much time. If I have more time I'll pump 20 minutes or until I see that nothing is coming out. Sometimes I pump longer at night when I'm really full.
Yeah I dropped at 6 weeks and was fine. I was an over supplier I didnt lose much as I was still over producing overall
