First time my supply tanked. Like completely unable to. Second time - One side stopped and went to colostrum so I was bf strictly from one side. I had to stop for my own sake when I was 6m pregnant (my son was 16m old). He had teeth, was waking every 60-120mins overnight and I wasn’t eating enough for me let alone 3. I just couldn’t do it any more but he took it well and after a night or so has slept through the night since (he’s now 20m).

I did. I think my supply dropped at some point but it didn’t stop her! could only really tolerate one feed a day as my nipples were so sensitive, but she didn’t wean. Word of warning…colostrum can have a bit of a laxative effect!! 😂 If you can keep going it’s a really nice way for your toddler to bond with your baby and not feel left out. I’m still tandem feeding now but I can’t tolerate feeding them both at the same time, it’s too overstimulating for me.

Mine switch to colostrum a couple months in and she stopped and said “yucky milk” and started taking a cup 😂

Thanks Ladies! She is still teething so I think she's comfort feeding a lot at the moment, my poor nipples lol. At least this gives me an idea of what to expect, which is just go with the flow 😊

Dwindled both times. It helped naturally wean my 1yr old! But second time around I NEED my supply as I have a babe under 1. Power pumping has tremendously helped and I’m bagging as much as I can while I can.

@Tessa question- which cup did you move to?

@Jennie she had been using the munchkin 360 for water so we just started putting milk in it. We thought for a while she just didn’t want milk in that cup and tried straw cups which she also liked but she just didn’t like the milk lol once it was the only option she transitioned well
