Try lanolin cream...it is amazing. You should have an infant breastfeeding team in your area. Maybe ask your health visitor if you can't find on Google x

I’ve heard silverettes will be your best friend!
I had this, was actually crying out on a walk because of the intense pain I experienced from clothing touching my nipple. I'd been managing before that with lanolin cream but after feeding without correcting babies latch I experienced intense pain in my nipple and surrounding nerves after a feed, it was like shooting pains. Went to the GP but they didn't do anything. That's when I bit the bullet and ordered the silver cups, just a cheaper brand from Amazon and they saved me! Yes they look a bit mad under clothes but I honestly didn't care for a while I was just so relieved to stop the pain which it did and my nipples healed a lot faster because of them. Now I just wear the cups out on walks etc if I'm wearing a coat over and managed without them the rest of the time by using lanolin cream and breast pads x
I’d speak to your hospital breast feeding support team about this as baby’s latch might not be very good. Has baby got a lip/tongue tie? I’d definitely recommend using nipple shields, they helped me a lot. If not them I would never been able to breast feed. X
