Peeing in pants
My girl is good at peeing in her potty when she’s bottom half naked. We started putting her in pants and trousers today and she has peed in them twice and not mentioned it or asked for the potty. She’s been peeing in her potty when makes bottom half for over a week now with no issues.
I try telling her she needs to pee in her potty and not her pants.
Is this just another thing she will learn or how do I help her? She obviously likens it to a nappy.

@Stacey thanks I’ll give this a try! She still sits on the potty to pee but doesn’t pull her pants down 🤣 if I try to help her it seems to stop her peeing and she leaves it
Least she’s linking the needing a wee to the potty though! Step in the right direction. Just say something like “pull your pants down, pull your knickers down” in a sing song sort of way then do the same when she does it and might help her to remember. We’re definitely getting better but I also had to find looser underpants. Oh actually we just did joggers before underpants to get him used to pulling them up and down first if you haven’t tried that? X

My little boy has been the same but much better lately, I wondered if it was because he just had something on his bum like a nappy, I basically had to pull mine down quite dramatically (like all the way to the floor) in front of him when I was going to the toilet and that seemed to help x
