@Isobel Thank you so very much for your response! Yes I was told that I have a anterior placenta and I’m still not sure what that means lol 😂
Your placenta might be why you can’t feel much then. Anterior means it’s at the front so your placenta is basically between your baby and you. That can make it harder to feel movement especially when they are smaller. When you do start feeling movement, it might be more to the side rather than in the middle because of that x
Do you know where your placenta is? Things like that can make a different if it’s between your tummy and baby. I do think it makes a difference being a first time mum. With my first, I found it confusing at the start to know what was baby and what was normal body flutters and grumbles. I find in pregnancy that my body is more sensitive and I can feel normal things like digestion more. It definitely gets easier the bigger baby gets as the movements and kicks are more forceful. I’m obese and I didn’t struggle to feel it inside but it took longer for my partner or myself to feel kicks from the outside. Babies don’t usually get into a routine until 26/28 weeks so hopefully you start feeling something soon x
