Swollen lower back?

Been struggling with period like cramps and lower back pain mainly in the evenings and at night. Keeping me awake the last two nights. Just been rubbing some oil in my lower back where it’s sore and it feels swollen? Took a picture in the mirror and looks like a swollen square sticking out? Has anyone had this? I’m 35+2
