How do you get your son to stop reaching to touch his penis during diaper changes?!?

Mine is 8 months, but he's been doing it too. I physically block his arms with my arm, that's the best I've been able to figure out so far

I usually just give my kids something to hold or mess with like a small book or toy. It usually occupies them for at least enough time for me to wipe off all that needs to be wiped

Mine is 2 1/2 and goes through phases of it. If he hadn’t done it in a while and I’m wiping, he’ll throw his hand down and laugh at my reaction 🤦🏼‍♀️ then the wave comes where he thinks it is hilarious until he forgets about it lol

mine just turned one, he usually only does it in the bath. i’m sure he’s just curious. i just move his hand away lol.

@Ruth That used to work for me until he started using whatever it is i give him to then put in his poop. Always fails me now unfortunately 😭

@Trinitee Lol they are! because they’re always covered by a diaper, my son used to only do it in the bath too and started doing it during diaper changes after he turned 1🤣

I sing and say show me arms up show me how to clap show me your nose show me your ears etc until I’m done

You just can't 😅 once they find it they never let it go. There's nothing sexual about it.

I cross his arms over his chest then pull his vest up over them so they are stuck inside his vest 🤣

My boy is only 8 months and he does this he’s been doing this since about 6 months in the bath but I’ve noticed he likes grabbing things that I’m using so I have duplicate of whatever I have he loves to pull the shitty nappy from underneath him so for example when I’m getting the stuff to change him I’ll grab two nappies and give him one to play with he also loves the wipes probably cause it’s something I always take away from him so I just stake out what I need and give him the pack to play with
