Baby movement

Hi all! I have a question. I’ve felt baby move daily since I was like 18 weeks (she’s my second), but today I’ve noticed her movement is pretty low. She’s moving a ton now, it feels like really low in my pelvis, but I never experienced this with my first. I have an anterior placenta this time, and I’m slightly overweight if that makes a difference. I’m just nervous because I’m used to her movements and they’re showing up pretty late/low today. Is this normal?

We’re in the same exact boat, literally every detail lol. My second, also a girl, anterior placenta and slightly overweight from my first pregnancy just last year. My OB has been telling me it’s all normal for right now until it’s third trimester and we need to keep track of kick counts. I’d go in if you need the peace of mind because I get A LOT of anxiety because of it as well if I don’t feel her moving her regular times but as long as you feel her I think it’s okay.

It could just be her positioning! I find that I typically feel her more in the same two spot. One is really low, like almost kicking my leg low 😂 my first never kicked there. I would just pay attention and if you’re concerned about it just call your dr! Mine have always been so good about any and all concerns I had big or small.

I’m pregnant with my second also anterior placenta and I’ve just been so anxious some days I feel more movements and some days just little jabs here and there and then I over think it and wonder if they’re kicks or phantom kicks 🤦🏻‍♀️

@Aaliyah we really are omg! I also had my girl 1.5 years ago and got pregnant right after her first birthday!! Thank you so much, she’s moving a lot more now and I can calm down a little 😭

@Elizabeth thank you!!! It feels like she’s all over the place and was higher recently, but she’s moving a lot more now so I feel a lot better ☺️

@Rashin it feels like little gas bubbles, but she’s also kicked hard enough that I’ve seen it so I have no idea what our norm is right now 🫠 thankfully she’s moving a little bit more now!

My son just turned 1 on Thursday and I’m expecting my girl and my last. This pregnancy sealed the deal!

Also had a baby a year and a half ago and pregnant again with another girl 🤪 I can feel when this baby flips and when she kicks low it is because she’s breech position. I didn’t feel my first until 25 weeks but have been feeling this one since about 15 weeks. And she kicks HARD 🤪 Call your doctor if you’re worried. You can drink cold water or eat something sugary to see if it gets baby moving

I also have an anterior placenta and my doctor says it’s normal to feel them in kind of places at that stage! Because they’re so small they can kind of float around and get into all kinds of spaces. I also felt her kick quite low and got worried, but they assured me it was all good
