I had an anterior placenta, and I first felt my baby at 21 weeks. I delivered 3 weeks ago, and trust me when I tell you that you’ll be able to feel him plenty, super soon! By the time I reached 32 weeks, my little man was absolutely crazy. I could feel and see him all the time, and my fiancé was able to feel and see him too! Your time will come soon, I promise!
I had an anterior placenta with my first and one of my twins has one, the other is posterior. With my son I couldn't feel him at all until 23-24 weeks and it wasn't consistent at all until around 27 weeks and then it was mainly in the morning and at night.
I’m 24 weeks with anterior placenta and yesterday I started feeling him kick. Make the most of it because once the kicking starts you won’t be sleeping lol
I first felt movements around 24 weeks. I promise it gets stronger each week🫶🏼
I have an anterior placenta and started feeling the tiniest kicks around 21/22 weeks I think it was (more just pops/bubbles before that). I’m now 39 weeks and from probably around 30 weeks have been able to feel every little movement and it’s amazing xx
My first was a posterior and this one is anterior. I only really started to feel tiny movements at 26 weeks. I'm 29 weeks and it's started to get abit more obvious now. With my first, I felt really big kicks at 18 weeks. I don't think you should feel robbed at all. With my first, I was always so scared that he was going to rip through my skin. You could see an entire foot, hand print, bum etc. And I mean you could see toes!!! With this one it's been a little slower which does make it hard when the midwife asks how movements are going but I believe they will get more intense towards the end of pregnancy either way!
I have an anterior placenta too and I remember not being able to tell for the longest time what was a kick and what was just a muscle spasm etc. But I started to feel them properly around 26 weeks and now at 32 weeks they are so strong they make me jump and my fiance has been able to feel them from the outside since about 28 weeks. It will come! Don't worry, 23 weeks is still early and they are so teeny. You might be feeling them and just not realise that's what they feel like yet! Good luck!
I also have an anterior placenta and have felt baby kick around the sides and flutters internally, they did say when they get stronger you should be able to feel them more
I had an anterior placenta with both pregnancies, and you do eventually feel them just takes a lot longer for us. I mainly felt it at the sides xx
It'll come honestly. He's still small. I had an anterior placenta and I didn't feel much while at this stage but by later on good god could I feel her 😂 I had meetings at work where I would have to stand up because she was kicking so much it hurt. When they say Anterior placenta can affect feeling movement it can, but not enough to rob you of the experience. I felt everything by the time she came, and I could feel where her heels of her feet were and everything. I have videos of her kicking where my stomach physically moves and I get the bumps where her foot or arm would move. Honestly you're so early for movements anyway right now.
27 weeks here and also have an anterior placenta and I didn’t start feeling my baby move until about 2 weeks ago. I was worried too because with my twins I was feeling movements by 22 weeks and then they told me I wouldn’t be able to feel many movement because of my placenta being anterior. I now feel baby playing soccer with my bladder 😆
That’s weird.. bc I have an AP too & I can feel everything ever since 8 weeks. 😅 Any minor movement I can feel. They feel like flutters.. twists and turns feel weird. Like something is overtaking my intestines. The kicks jolt me.
I'm currently 31 weeks with baby No2 and an anterior placenta. With my first I had posterior so felt everything so early but this time around it was like 21 weeks before actually feeling anything. My midwife kept saying don't worry you will once you start getting bigger and I still worried. I only started showing at about 21/22 weeks and I can say now at 31 weeks I can definitely feel the kicks and wiggling. You'll get there it just might take a little longer but once the bump grows and the placenta moves with it you'll feel baby xx
I also have an anterior placenta and I didn’t feel much when I was around your stage but I’m at 28 weeks now and now I feel a decent amount of movement. As the baby gets bigger you will be able to feel them

I felt my little man kick at 22 weeks and 3 days exact but could only feel it at sides and not as strong as other mums and you can still see the kicks when you get further into your pregnancy , don’t worry mama it’s coming for you ⭐️🩷💙
you will feel them trust me! i also had an anterior placenta and it took longer to feel stronger kicks but they will come eventually. before you know it you’ll be getting kicked in the bladder and the ribs 😂
I had one with my daughter and she made up for it lol 😆 😂 I was 23 weeks till I felt her
Whilst I was able to feel baby kick at some point in the 2nd trimester, I have an anterior placenta too and can remember feeling a bit upset that I wouldn't feel him as much as others described. But soon enough the kind of placenta you have won't even matter, because in a few weeks you'll definitely be able to feel him doing all sorts of acrobatics inside you and you'll wonder if he ever finds the time to sleep!
