Breastfeeding

Wow yall this shit sucks 🤣🤣 I breastfed my first one just 18 months ago and apparently blacked out all these hard times and now have a 4 day old baby and just came on here to complain hahaha. My nips hurt, I’m up every hour, I’m tired, I can barely fit in a shower in the schedule, my C section scar hurts, I feel like an Oompa Loompa. Just posting in solidarity if any other mommas are up at 3am wondering wtf they are doing with their life!! I hear ya and I feel ya and I am here to say it does get better, slowly 🥲 but these early postpartum trenches suck!

Im always up at 3 am lol feel free to text me! Is definitely horrible last night my baby was cluster feeding from 12am to 4-5am😢

We should have a breastfeeding group chat to complain on 😂😂

I literally just said to my husband “I don’t want to be Daisy the cow anymore” 😂

My baby has had days where he's cluster feeding at night but he decided to do it in the day today and I'm not sure it's better.

😂 my husband just goes “this is your life now” as he brought my starving baby!

If it wasn’t my cluster feeding baby last night it was my toddler falling out of bed. I’m so tired!

@Jane aww man

It's horrible. By kids has a severe tongue tie that effects his latch. I'm now exclusively pumping. It's a pain but we're birth happier now

@Celeste in this same boat!! We decided not to get the tongue tie fixed because i only plan to breastfeed for 3 months (can’t do it at work it’s impossible) and they recommended pumping and bottle feeding. It adds so much extra Time, good for you for being so dedicated!! I added a nipple shield and that seems to be helping a bit. If the nipple shield doesn’t do it, I’m going to formula. I’m not putting the same pressure on myself as i did with my first. All that matters is a fed baby and a happy sane momma!! Keep up the good work my friend!!

Oh man do I feel this!! My body feels broken after my C-section. And the fluid retention is unreal. Feet and legs are SO swollen still (11 days PP). Breastfeeding is kicking my ass and I’m honestly considering switching to formula already to give my body a break and allow my husband to feed during the night too.
