Reduced movements

So I’ve been feeling/seeing baby move for a while now, probably since around 14 weeks and I’m 21 weeks now. But the last two days his movements have reduced quite a bit and I’m not sure whether to be concerned. I do have an anterior placenta but that hasn’t stopped me feeling him previously. Is it work ringing triage or will they say it’s too early for reduced movements?

No it’s fine as baby is still small they’re moving but sometimes you just can’t feel it, I feel subtle movements here and there and I’m 20+3 they don’t start monitoring baby’s movements until you’re 28 weeks

They will check you and monitor baby from 20 weeks, always call if you’re worried they won’t have a problem xx

I called triage for this, they said it’s best to go in and have them listen! They are so small at this stage it’s really common to not feel them for a day or so, but it gave me the peace of mind going in and hearing they were ok! ☺️

Always call if your worried. I’ve been feeling baby since 16 weeks I’m 20 tomorrow and they get stronger. I have an anterior placenta and it doesn’t stop the feeling you’ll still know what’s right for you.

@Josie so glad everything was working okay with you and your baby❤️ did they just listen to the heart beat or did they monitor you for a while? Xx
