Help boosting supply!

So my supply has always been up and down, but I managed to get it into a decent place where I was getting about 1.5 feeds per pump sessions. I’m now almost 17 weeks pp and since 14ish weeks my supply has massively dropped to the point where it’s taking me two pump sessions to get enough for one feed. I’m still pumping every 3-4 hours and for the last two weeks, power pumping once at night, while I’ve seen a slight improvement it’s still not enough and I’m having to massively supplement with formula. I feel like I’m doing absolutely everything I can to boost supply and nothing seems to be working since I hit the end of the fourth trimester. Any advice?

I also had a hard time pumping, so I don't have too much advice. But I know that when my baby nursed, my milk flowed easily. I did not respond to a pump the same way. Maybe allow your baby to have access and pump right after or on the other side at the same time while nursing. When pumping, smell your baby's clothes. Also, learn hand expressing. Stay hydrated and fed. Coconut water, water with lemon... Healthy fats and calories. I hope something will work for you. 💛

@Eva I drink so much that it’s silly, baby has a hard time properly latching and won’t stay on the boob for a very long time, and his first teeth started coming through a few days ago so boob is off the table now. I do massage while pumping and it does tend to get a bit more milk out, although this isn’t a huge amount. Starting to think that maybe I need to try the domperidone route

You can try Mother Love More Milk plus. My lactation nurse recommended it. I think it worked somewhat.

@Eva I’m in the UK, just had a quick Google and it’s not widely available here, I can buy it imported, but it’d cost over £27 (around $35ish).

Oh no. I wonder if it's called differently there. I'll send you the ingredients, and you can create or find a different version. Fenugreek seed Blessed thistle herb Nettle leaf Fennel seed

The thing that helped me massively is oats! I can tell the difference when I don’t have any for a couple of days!
