Struggling with sleep

My baby is 5 weeks old and was typically going to sleep at around 10/11pm which wasn’t too bad. I would also be able to feed and then put her down and she’d have maybe one false start but then sleep. The last 5 nights or so she’s not gone to sleep until 2am and now 3am, it’s really starting to affect me now. She’ll be in a deep sleep, I transfer her to the bassinet and within 5 mins she’s awake and it will take hours for her to go to sleep. I am seriously struggling mentally with it now and feel like I’ve tried everything. Is anyone in the same position or had similar? Please give me some tips 🙏🏼

No advice but this is us right now 😭 keep going Mama I’m hoping it’s just a phase that will pass soon xx

Same, also no advice ☹️ here’s hoping it’ll pass quickly!

Try putting a muslin in your top all day and then tuck that into the bassinet over the matress so it’s like an extra sheet. Sounds gross but will smell like you. Also you could pop a hot water bottle on the matress for a few mins (make sure not too hot) so they don’t notice the hot to cold quite so much. Mine wouldn’t sleep until I tried a swaddle bag so that is also an option :) Do you use a white noise machine?

This is also me! My little one was ok at going down would maybe do 2-3 hour stints now won't tolerate being put and will start fussing within 15 mins or so. Mine uses a swaddle bag and has previously loved it but now I get the sense she feels restricted despite not being big enough for the next size up. Hoping it's a developmental leap or something 🤞

Solidarity to everyone else, it’s so tough 😭 fingers crossed it passes🤞🏻

@Rachel Yep using a white noise machine and a Ewan but absolutely nothing settles her, I will give the muslin a go, thank you! X
