Early wake ups

My baby wakes up at 4:30-5am every morning and won’t go back to sleep, I’ve tried earlier and later bedtimes but it still makes no difference… he’s 8 months and has also now begun only sleeping for 30 minutes during naps Throughout the day resulting in him having 6 naps😩I can’t get anything done during the day as he will wake up from naps still tired screaming and crying until he goes back down again. I have tried leaving him for 10 minutes to see if he will go back to sleep, rocking him back to sleep (he will go back to sleep until put back in his cot) but no help. Does anyone have any suggestions? He is always full and changed nappy before every nap

My LO wakes roughly 4:30 every morning. I feed/ wind her and she will fall back to sleep until 8:30/9am. Maybe your LO is hungry? Could try and drop the last nap and put baby to bed usual time. That’s what I done when my son was around 10 months and he began sleeping through x

@Chelsea hiya, he’s fed before bedtime and fed as soon as he wakes up, after that he just won’t settle back down xx

@Charlotte these babies have a mind of their own lol. Maybe today drop the last nap he has and see if he sleeps in later? Sorry I don’t have much advice! X

Try dropping last nap , but could be mile stones or teething making them not happy found that out with my little 1 lasted few weeks at a time and now case of 1 day a week up till silly o'clock as seem to much energy plus can't nap after 2pm or I'm in for long night

Every baby is different, but babies around 8 months are usually on 2-3 naps. I would try and extend the wake time between naps to help build the sleep pressure - this should lead to longer, more restful naps.

My babygirl is 2 years old and wakes up early even on weekends one day out of a week she would sleep in until 7-8 but that’s it mind you we go to sleep around 9pm, but I gotta be up at 5am too wake my oldest up for school. Sometimes I’m lucky she will stay asleep until my husband takes her to school.

And that’s with no nap. If she wakes up at 5am she sometimes take naps but not always so imagin going alll day with no nap too 😭
